Speed Of Light Optics is Hiring! We’re looking for hardworking dedicated individuals to join our team! We look for individuals with experience in construction survey/ layout for, vertical construction, horizontal construction, rail, utilities, military, or any other similar type of industry!

Key Functions:
- Perform scans/surveys of highway assets.
- Travel to locations in northern New England
- Install control for projects.
- Properly maintain surveying equipment to ensure accuracy.
- Willingness to learn, lidar, photogrammetry equipment as well as point cloud processing software.
- Knowledge of GNSS equipment used to facilitate surveying of heavy civil construction projects.
Qualifications:
- Minimum two (2) years of construction layout experience
- Use of GNSS Survey Equipment preferred but not required.
- Basic computer knowledge. Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to pass a DOT pre-employ physical and drug screen.
- Valid DOT Medical card or the ability to pass DOT medical card certification
- Must be able to move or lift 50+ lbs.
- 10-hour OSHA certification or ability to obtain one
- Candidate must have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment along with good social skills –tolerant, collaborative and a positive attitude.
